Stress

Stress is onze grootste vijand, we eten er slecht en teveel of te weinig door, we slapen slecht, we zijn moe, we drinken te veel, zijn knorrig, etc.

Stress brengt ons in een overlevingsstand, een stand die bedoeld is om te vechten of te vluchten als er gevaar dreigt, bijvoorbeeld als we door een tijger achterna gezeten worden.... Deze overlevingsstand zorgt ervoor dat ons systeem vraagt om suiker om de spieren te voeden om te vechten of vluchten en dat er bloed naar onze spieren gaat en dus minder naar de hersenen. We kunnen dus niet meer zo helder denken!

Stress zorgt er ook voor dat we de wereld minder gezellig zien dan dat hij is, we zijn hier tenslotte niet gekomen om te stressen, het is enkel een 'tool' om jezelf te beschermen. In ons leven zijn we eigenlijk altijd klaar om te vechten of te vluchten zonder dat er echt gevaar dreigt. Het enige is dat ons systeem denkt dat er gevaar dreigt omdat we er teveel van vragen. 

Doe iets aan die chronische stress, ik zeg: Doe Het Anders!

  11. Saw this cake first hand as a guest at the party. Amad;a’ns husband win’s the prize as husband with the best concept idea and you guys nailed it hands down in bringing it to fruition.
